What. A. Week!
Whew! I knew that October was going to be a busy month, but we’re only a couple of days in and I find myself chugging coffee and running on power naps. It may be a crazy couple of weeks, but I live for busy season! Which only makes me sound crazier than I already am, but with the new colors on the leaves, Fall wedding decorations, and attire how could you not be obsessed?! I have new galleries to share soon and I can not wait for you to see them. So, be sure to stay tuned!
Today, we are going to talk about Guest Books! It seems the traditional guest book is slowly becoming a thing of the past and as it does hold that classical touch, a lot of couples that I talk to want something to stand out for their guests. In an attempt to find that special touch, those couples go on a mad hunt through Pinterest which can turn into a three-hour wormhole of not only wedding ideas, but new recipes, outfit ideas, and more (which I am just as guilty of)!
Instead of hours of endless scrolling, let me help! I have created a short list of unique wedding guestbook ideas that work for any time of the year and any style you are wanting for your big day!
A Prompt Guestbook
How much fun is this one? Instead of having your guests write a “congratulations” have them share in some of your favorite prompts including, “favorite memory”, “where we met”, “your first impression, “wedding advice”, and more!
Illustrated Guestbook
This is such a fun idea because this makes the guests feel even more special to partake in your big day. You can have these guestbooks illustrated for you or you can do them yourself. If you are doing them yourself you have a bit more freedom to personalize every person you draw!
A Polaroid Guestbook
If you have been to a wedding within the last five years then you may have seen this already! It is very simple- leave a Polaroid camera out with a book, have your guests take a photo, tape it to the book, and have them sign the guestbook with a fun sentiment!
Paint-by-Number Guestbook
I wanted to save best for last! This is an incredibly fun way to have your guests wish you well on your Wedding Day! With this set up, it is important to have all the tools to keep all your guests clean. These tools include, paintbrushes, plastic smocks, individual water cups, and rags.
How fun are these wedding guestbook ideas? They not only help the guests feel more involved, but it adds the perfect personal touch! And if we’re being totally honest, I saw the “paint by numbers” guestbook idea on TikTok so, I would suggest looking on their platform for ideas too!
