I hope you all have had a fabulous week. I am currently typing this from the beautiful city of Nashville, Tennessee. I have had this trip on my radar for a while and it hasn’t disappointed! It is so much fun to see all of the lights, the noises, and the trends. And that is what has inspired this blog. So, let’s talk trends!
Wedding trends are obviously a huge influence in the industry. They are what vendors keep an eagle eye on and what future brides fill their Pinterest boards with. 2021 wedding season is finally upon us and what better way to celebrate than showing off the newest wedding trends? In 2020, we had a global pandemic shake up the wedding industry. Due to this setback, we saw an influx of micro weddings, elopements, and smaller sized weddings. So, how does this influence today’s trends? Let’s take a look!
Top Wedding Trends of 2021
Attention to Detail or Quality over Quantity
If there was one thing all 2020 brides learned, it was attention to detail! With a intense cut in their guest lists the focus was shifted towards the idea of “quality over quantity.” Now, that has become a trend in the new year!
Retro Design and Color Palettes
If you haven’t noticed already, retro is very in! It can be seen in clothing, accessories, and now in 2021 weddings! This gives a bride the opportunity to play while also staying trendy!
Instillation Statement Pieces
I LOVE this trend! This is a fantastic way for brides to think out-of-the box and add a statement to their wedding that guests will never forget!
Non-Traditional Wedding Ceremonies
This is something I definitely noticed towards the end of 2020. With COVID-19 cases rising, elopements were becoming more popular because they were the safest option. Now, that has transcended into 2021 with creating unique wedding ceremonies. This allows the couple to personalize their wedding to the fullest.
