Five Tips For Navigating Bridal Shows

We have officially entered Bridal Show season!

If you are unfamiliar with what a bridal show is, it is a convention where brides are invited to see what wedding vendors have to offer. They set up tables or booths and showcase their services with literature, freebies, and more. It is almost a one-stop-show for brides so they have an opportunity to vendor shop for their wedding!

As much fun as these shows can be, they can become overwhelming if you are not prepared. Depending on your location these shows can have 100+ vendors. All who are trying to get your attention and information. That is why I want to share with you five tips to get you prepared. These tips will better prep you to talk with every vendor, stay organized, and optimize your experience in full.

Let’s get ready!

Tip #1:

Create information stickers! These stickers will have your contact information including your name, number, email address, and wedding date. As I mentioned earlier, vendors are there to get your information. You will skip the time filling out their forms by simply placing a sticker in place!

Tip #2:

Pre-register. I cannot stress this enough…PRE-REGISTER! This will save you time waiting in line and more times than not, if you pre-register you may get a discounted ticket price, special door prizes, and more.

Tip #3:

Bring a large bag with you! Vendors will be doing their best to get you attention and what better way to do that other than with free things. From pens, to cups, stickers, and more- you will be given it all. Bringing a bag with you will help keep all of that out of your purse.

Tip #4:

Create a separate wedding email. By creating a separate email address, you will be able to keep all wedding related emails in one place. Then, when your wedding is over you can delete the account! (It is also a perfect time to create folders for all your different vendors and more.)

Tip #5:

Wear comfortable shoes. I know this one sounds like a small tip, but these bridal shows can run long and if you are in heels I don’t think you will have as much fun as the actual show is!

I hope these tips help as you sign up for Fall Bridal Shows! If you are looking for more tips feel free to DM me! I would love to walk you through the entire experience. Till then, have a wonderful day.
