Four Winter Bridesmaids Dresses

Hi friends!

Yesterday I was posting to my Instagram and happened to put in my caption, “we are one week from Christmas.” Then, it hit me…we are ONE week from Christmas. I don’t mean to sound like a broken record, but this year has flown by. I can’t wait to take this week to work hard so I can gather with family and celebrate the Holiday season.

Before we get to Christmas I wanted to take the time to highlight something I haven’t spoken on in quite some time…bridesmaids dresses! Earlier this year, I wrote a fun blog on bridesmaids dresses and it was so much fun to research and style for everyone. So, I thought it would be fun to bring that topic back, but add in seasonal twist.

As we navigate through the Winter season I have seen several styles of Winter Wedding Dresses that have blew me away. This season I have seen everything from elegant mermaid shaped wedding dresses to, my personal favorite, a wedding cape. Now, I want to touch base on Winter Bridesmaids Dresses. I want to showcase four different styles that I think would take the 2021 Wedding Season by storm. I will include pictures that will directly link you to the website so you will be able to check them out yourself.

Just call me your fairy God-Mother…

VELVET DREAMS

If you keep up with my blogs, then you know my obsession that is velvet. Velvet is a texture that holds both timeless and elegant qualities. This bridesmaid dress is perfect for the 2021 Winter Wedding season because of its rich look. This is perfect for a bride looking to keep a minimalist look for their wedding. By adding texture to your Bridal Party, you can still keep a simple wedding look without it keeping it too plain.

ETHEREAL EMERALD

It could be 2010, 2021, or 2050…Emerald will always be a top color for the Winter season. I believe the reason is because the color is not only a nice earth tone, but it also looks good on every skin tone. If I have any brides looking at emerald bridesmaids dresses I would love to suggest champagne or silver jewelry. It will add a subtle pop of color that will highlight the color!

A VISION IN WHITE

One trend that I have noticed more in the last five years are colored wedding dresses. I have seen pink, navy blue, and even black. I think this is such a great way to add a unique touch to you wedding. If I have any brides looking into colored wedding dresses, then I want to suggest white bridesmaids dresses. This dress is a perfect example and would look stunning in Winter. The textured bell sleeves remind me of snowflakes and details are just, chef’s kiss!

CLASSIC CHIFFON

I know there are mixed reviews on chiffon, but personally I think it looks great in person and in photo’s! It is comfortable, chic, and doesn’t pull too much attention away from the bride. I also wanted to pull this dress because of the color! The mix of this fabric and color make it a must have this winter season!

I tried my best to cover different styles, types of fabric, and colors, but at the end of the day do whatever feels right for you! If you are a Winter Bride and have questions about dresses or styles feel free to contact me! I would love to show examples of what I have shot in the past and help you get you, your dream Winter Wonderland Wedding!

Until next time…
