Gallery Highlight: Emily + Sean

Happy Thanksgiving Week!

I feel like I was just wishing everyone a Happy Halloween and now we are nearing Thanksgiving. November has flown by and I have been busier than ever. Between weddings, engagements, and couple’s sessions, I have stayed quite busy. But, the best part of what I get to do is to share it with you! That is why I want to share one of my favorite galleries from the past couple of months!

Everyone, meet Emily + Sean!

Before I begin on the story of their day, I want to sum up the day in one word. I like to do this with every gallery highlight I get to write about because it makes me sit and truly think about the essence of their day. When thinking over a word for Emily + Sean’s wedding I ended up coming up with more than one:

Elated | Joyous | Giddy

The energy was contagious the entire day! You could feel the excitement build like a bolt of lighting. I could feel myself getting more and more hype to shoot and it honestly it helped with some of my shooting. The energy helped me feel less tense and more creative!

One moment that stood out to me most from the entire day was when Sean + Emily both watched each other as they walked down the isle. They were both crying happy tears and it brought their guests to tears as well. The best part was through the happy tears, Emily let out a soft laugh that triggered everyone else to laugh. So, we were all there laughing and crying and it was honestly one of the most pure moments. I will never forget that moment!

Some of my favorite photos from their gallery are from the reception. Y’all…that reception was FUN! The live band catered to the overall energy and made it feel like on huge party. There was one moment when the band was playing and everyone was dancing/spinning in circles. It was genuinely so much fun to watch!

This feels like one of those moments you look back on and think, “it really was the happiest day of their lives”. You could tell how much everyone in their lives loved and cared for them and it was evident that Sean + Emily were meant for these moments. Honestly, this will go down as one of my favorite weddings ever because of the pure joy every single person experienced.

It was a movie, but better.

xoxo-

Sarah
