Hello all my wonderful friends, clients, and anyone else in-between!
This past week I announced on Instagram my Valentine’s Day Sessions! If you aren’t following me, which you totally should be, let me tell you more about it! I am offering both Valentine’s Day Mini’s and Boudoir sessions. Each session is 30 minutes each and can include your significant other or just you, yourself!
So, in honor of these sessions I want to talk to my couples today! When shooting with couples I love prompts that aren’t “posed” and give a more organic feel to them. And let’s be honest…sometimes in front of a camera we never know what to do! Here are some prompts that will help capture those real, raw moments and emotions!

“The Lovebird” Pose
This pose can be so much fun! You will grab your significant other’s hand and “drunk” walk towards your photographer bumping hips, looking at each other, laughing, etc. This creates real smiles and
laughs that translate so well in photos.
2. The “Show Off The Bling” Pose
Start with the guy standing with his back towards the camera. The girl will hug onto his arm while facing the camera and rest her head on his shoulder. Then, have the guy look down at her and either kiss her head, smile at her, or have him whisper something romantic in her ear. This always gets the girl to sigh or melt and shows off the best emotions! Also- Ladies, this is the time to show off your BLING if you’re engaged or married.
3. “The Pick Up & Swing” Pose
The girl will start with standing in front of the camera and the guy will run up behind her, put his arms around her waist, and either pick her up or swing her from side to side! This pose is one of my personal favorites because it more than often makes both the guy and girl laugh!
There are some of my favorite poses for couples! I know it can sometimes feel awkward in front of the camera so I want to share an added bonus. Be sure you feel comfortable in the clothing you choose to wear! Pro tip: when you book a session with me, I will ALWAYS send you an epic outfit guide to help you plan your looks! Once you are comfortable in your clothing you will feel more comfortable in photos. I always ask my couples what their favorite Spotify playlists are and we will JAM out at your session! Comment your favorite music to play during your session! I probably will always add in some Ariana and Lizzo just for some extra hype (:
