Happy Sunday and Happy Holidays, friends!

This past week was full of so much magic. I shot my last wedding of 2020, which was incredible and bittersweet, I got to see family, opened presents, and sat in the joy of the Christmas season! This year has certainly been difficult due to COVID-19, but it was nice to slow down a little and celebrate.

If you have been following me on Instagram then you may have noticed that I posted my personal “Five Days of Christmas” this past week! (And if you’re not following on Insta, then what are you waiting for?!?) I counted down some of my favorite wedding vendors including florists, bridal shops, and venues! Today, I wanted to share my favorite wedding venues with you!

These wedding venues are all located in South Carolina! Even if you are not close, you can always call ahead and schedule a tour. So, brides to be…this one is for you. Let’s go!

  1. AvenueGreenville, South Carolina

This is the perfect rooftop venue located in the heart of Downtown Greenville! It serves so many beautiful looks perfect for any bride’s taste. It hosts an inside space that is very sleek and modern as well as a romantic garden rooftop with spectacular views of Downtown Greenville. This wedding venue is great to either dress up or dress down. It also takes the best wedding day photos! Click on the link above for more information about Avenue.

2. Atalaya CastleMurrells Inlet, South Carolina

We’re moving from sleek to historical! Atalaya Castle is an actual castle ruin that sits on Huntington Beach outside of Myrtle Beach. It gives a twist on the traditional beach wedding. Pictures certainly do not do this wedding venue justice. I highly recommend scheduling a tour and making a beach trip with the girls out of it!

3. Aurora FarmsGreenville, South Carolina

Gimme all of the bright, white, and natural light! Aurora Farms is that wedding venue that holds the most stunning natural light that makes for gorgeous photos. This space is perfect for brides who are looking for that “dreamy” backdrop for their ceremony. It also has ample space to host both the ceremony and reception inside. Go check out their website!

4. Rock Bottom PondRidgeway, South Carolina

Brides to be, this is the perfect wedding venue for anyone looking for an intimate and natural look. This space is absolutely gorgeous and makes you feel like you’re stepping into a fairytale. The selling point for Rock Bottom is that they offer a variety of ample inventory! If you look on their website you will see all they have to offer!

5. Cypress GardensMonks Corner, South Carolina

Cypress Gardens is such a wonderful and unique venue! There are so many spots that make for the most beautiful ceremony spots! The cherry on top is the view by the water. This part of the venue space breathtaking and makes for gorgeous wedding photos.

Fun fact- The Notebook was filmed in the waters at Cypress Gardens and you can ask for a row boat (like below!) and live out your Nicholas Sparks dreams!

There you have it, everyone! These are just five of some of my favorite wedding venues, too!
