I recently shot the sweetest engagement session that I can’t help but share with you all! I loved getting to shoot this particular session because not only were these some of the best clients ever, but it was in one of my favorite cities… Charleston, South Carolina. So, without further ado…
Everyone, meet Marissa + Walker!
I absolutely adore Marissa + Walker! Our first consultation was via Facetime where they went through their vision for the shoot. It can sometimes be intimidating to have your first meeting through Facetime, but they both have these huge personalities and it really set the tone for not only that meeting, but for the shoot. We were able to work together on logistics, last minute details, and then we were off for Charleston!
If you know me then you know Charleston, South Carolina is one of my favorite places in the world! I was ecstatic that their engagement session was taking place there and loved every minute of it! It was two days after Christmas and nearly eighty…that’s right…EIGHTY degrees! We all took that as a sign to enjoy the weather and play! We ran around the entire city exploring different areas, parks, and alleyways!
Marissa + Walker’s wedding will be held at The Citadel in September of this year so, we explored a few of the areas surrounding Hampton Park. It was exciting to plan some of the spots where we can shoot photos on their wedding day! They had the best attitudes and energy which made the entire day super comfortable and laid-back!
Marissa + Walker, thank you so much for letting me join you two and bounce around Charleston! I can’t wait to join you you two on your big day! See you soon!
