Gallery Highlight: Styled Event Styled Shoot

Hi, friends!

This past week was possibly one of the most exciting weeks as I launched my new brand! You may have noticed my entire website has been revamped, but it doesn’t stop there. I have new a new logo, business cards, stationary, and so much more. I am so excited to share this all with you and can’t wait to see how this grows not only my business, but myself! I want to shoutout to Adison with ____ for helping take my brand and turning it into a little piece of myself. I highly recommend her to any business!

Today I want to shine a spotlight on my most recent styled shoot with The Styled Event. This shoot was SO much fun because it had a string of “Bridgerton” laced through the entire event! If you are familiar with Bridgerton on Netflix, then get ready because this is a dream!

Welcome to The Grand Holland Estate.

A literal piece of heaven on Earth. This venue was honestly one of the most stunning places to shoot. It held a grand staircase that was a stunning backdrop and also had a gorgeous garden in the back. It felt like I was truly shooting royalty on the grounds!

This was my eighth time shooting with The Styled Event and it was very different than anything I have shot with them! There were so many different spaces around the estate and property that we were able to utilize. It was fun to shoot different angles and take the bride and groom in several locations. It felt like every turn was another opportunity for a different shot.

One of my favorite images from the entire gallery were the ones by the flower tree with the flower pedals cascading around them. It was a beautiful shot and every photographer took turns shaking the tree to get this effect. It was so much fun watching everyone work together to make sure we all had the chance to get these shots!

I’d say the biggest challenge during the shoot was the lighting inside by the staircase. We were shooting in the afternoon and had light coming directly through the windows so, it made photos look almost yellow. I definitely took shots with my flash on (and even without) so I could have more of a variety during the editing process.

This was by far one of my favorite styled shoots with The Styled Event! And not just because I adore Bridgerton, but because of the location, the couple, and the details. I would recommend any photographer shooting with The Styled Event in the future!
